Tyler Moon
Tyler is originally from Portland, OR and moved to Port Townsend in 2015. Tyler graduated from The Pacific NW College of Art in 2007 with a BFA in photography and while photography remains a passion, illustration, painting, and tattooing ultimately stole his heart. After years of looking for an apprenticeship while honing his drawing, he landed at Water Street Tattoo under the mentorship of Krysten Dae. While learning the history and craft of tattooing, Tyler helped Krysten open her shop Hold Fast Port Townsend where he is now tattooing.

Creating your Tattoo:
For larger, multi-session pieces, a consultation is usually preferred, but it's often not necessary for smaller, one-shot tattoos. At the consultation, you can discuss your ideas with Tyler and he will take a tracing of the area of your body to be tattooed. After the consultation, he will make a custom drawing for you. You will not be emailed previews or finished drawings. If at your tattoo appointment changes are necessary, they can usually be made on the spot, no problem! Changes to drawings are often part of the process. Speak your mind and feel free to ask clarifying questions!
For your tattoo appointment:
Please arrive clean, well-rested, sober, and pretty please no perfumes or fragrances! Be sure you arrive with a full stomach to stay fueled up for getting tattooed. Your body needs fuel for the process!
